BLOGTyme.org, the official blog of the GreenTyme "chronic health instead of chronic health problems" movement, is being revised.
For now, see this two-part sample...

Attention "insomniacs":
Are you running too quickly to the medicine cabinet?

And now for many of you sufferers of "insomnia", hopefully the rest of the story (if you too are experiencing interrupted sleep on occasion -- or more often). What painter and sculptor John Lynch says about his results of frequently viewing (early in the morning) his functional art "Temple of Time", enshrining an old laptop generously donated by Jeremy Prats:

"Like many people, I suffer from a form of insomnia that's called early waking. I generally fall asleep quite easily, but sometimes I'll awake at two or three in the morning and find it difficult falling back asleep. Since I've been using my "Temple of Time" Synclecron, I find that it's helped with this condition. Now when I wake up early, I just glance at my Synclecron and know immediately how many hours of night remain. I think the reason I fall back asleep more quickly might be that my mind needs be less 'awake' to process the image than to look at a conventional clock and have to think about numbers. I believe others with this condition might benefit as well."

Please come back to GreenTyme's BLOGTyme in a few weeks.
